JKIR is a non-profit organization that raises awareness on the need of raising school supplies to our school children in South Texas and the rest of state of Texas. We have been operating since 2011 when the Founder and Chair decided to formalize after operating on her own since 2009 as simply an act of charity. She has obtained lots of support from our her friends, colleagues and the community and we are proud to have been able to assist well over 3100 students.
As we prepare for the upcoming 2016-2017 Academic School Year we are enthusiastic of increasing our efforts as we continue to assist students with the much needed school supplies every year. We are volunteer board working towards much success for not just the students but for our parents, families and teachers because we strongly believe our mission is a just cause.
